Terms of Service & Guest-Host Agreement
The contractual framework governing guest reservations, host listings, escrow disbursements, and dispute arbitrations on AROVA.
1. Introduction & Acceptance
By accessing or using the AROVA platform, mobile web services, or booking systems, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AROVA Technologies Ltd.
2. Escrow Payment & 24-Hour Inspection Window
All reservation charges are debited immediately upon booking via our licensed Nigerian payment gateway (Paystack) and deposited directly into a designated settlement vault. Funds are held until twenty-four (24) hours following the guest's verified check-in date.
During this 24-hour period, the guest holds the right to file an urgent discrepancy dispute if the property significantly deviates from listed amenities (including power failure exceeding 2 consecutive hours without auxiliary restoration).
3. All-Inclusive Pricing Standard
AROVA operates a strict transparent pricing protocol. Hosts must include cleaning fees, utility surcharges, and municipal levies into their published nightly rate. Requiring guests to pay off-platform cash deposits or supplemental diesel fees is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate host suspension.
4. Cancellation Policies & Force Majeure
Cancellations are governed by the specific tier chosen by the host at listing creation (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict). Where cancellation occurs in accordance with the applicable policy, refunds are processed to the original payment source within 3 to 5 business days.
